Job description

Purpose and Impact:
Are you interested in using your skills to help shape the Cyber, Security, & Intel space? If so, look no further. Amentum is seeking a OSINT Analyst - MID to join our team of passionate individuals in Quantico, VA. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation's security and intelligence mission.
Contract analysts will support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Office of Entity Vetting (EV). EV consists of highly qualified security, intelligence, and business professionals making up the Verification and Triage Unit (VTU), Due Diligence Unit (DDU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU). VTU is responsible for the review and triage of companies for business or foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) risk indicators. In addition, VTU adjudicates companies' eligibility, and continued eligibility for an FCL. DDU conducts business and security-related research and analysis of companies to inform decision makers of risks impacting initial and continued entity eligibility. RMU evaluates relevant analytic products to develop effective risk management strategies addressing risks impacting eligibility of a company. In addition, RMU negotiates and implements required strategies with industry, and provides oversight support to other government stakeholders and DCSA field assets.

• Standard 8-4, may flex an hour at gov direction
Essential Responsibilities:
Conducts research and analysis of foreign economic structures and how they support their military industrial complexes. Performs analysis of economic health of foreign states and non-states and help determine the true level of defense spending and financial ability for and sustain military operations. Performs research and analysis to determine potential economic leverage points and vulnerabilities of foreign economies.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
• Must complete a government driven training/certification program upon start of work that focuses on completing expected task range. Training typically lasts 6-8 weeks but may be adjusted at government direction.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
• Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category.
• Minimum 8 years' experience applying data analysis, trend analysis and problem-solving techniques. Contractor must be knowledgeable of data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommend solutions.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Ability and skill in communicating verbally and in writing.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including preparing written reports, leading conferences, and giving briefings.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in navigating technology effectively and efficiently at classified and unclassified levels (i.e. SharePoint, Microsoft Office Tools, etc.)
Clearance Required:
• TS/SCI eligibility
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Years of Experience:
• 8 years (see KSA's)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior OSINT, or experience supporting DCSA
