Position Summary

The Cage Supervisor oversees all grave shift cage operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, state gaming regulations, and company policies. This position supervises cage personnel, safeguards financial assets, and supports training and team development while maintaining accuracy, security, and professionalism throughout daily cash operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise cage operations and personnel during the grave shift, ensuring compliance with company policies and gaming regulations
  • Monitor and verify cash handling procedures, safeguarding company assets at all times
  • Maintain control over currency, coins, checks, and required forms and documentation
  • Review and balance cage activity, ensuring accurate financial records and reconciliation
  • Assist the Cage Shift Manager with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Coach and mentor team members to promote accuracy, accountability, and service excellence
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity in all transactions and recordkeeping
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or operational issues promptly
  • Provide exceptional internal and external guest service in all interactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Three (3) years of cage or cash-handling experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of state gaming regulations and monetary transaction controls
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the casino and cage area
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive cash-handling motions
  • Exposure to secondhand smoke, noise, and a fast-paced gaming environment
  • Frequent interaction with guests and staff requiring professional communication and composure

Schedule

Team members must be able to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
