Position Summary

The Beverage Server is responsible for delivering prompt, friendly, and efficient beverage service to guests while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role takes and processes drink orders, prepares and serves beverages according to standards, and maintains cleanliness and service efficiency in a fast-paced casino environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient beverage service to guests
  • Accurately input beverage orders into the POS system
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards, including proper garnishing and presentation
  • Retrieve used glassware and maintain clean service areas
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding promptly
  • Comply with all liquor service laws, company policies, and internal controls
  • Follow responsible beverage service training standards (S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S.)
  • Maintain proper balance of server bank, where applicable
  • Set up beverage stations and ensure readiness for service
  • Attend required meetings, training sessions, and briefings
  • Promote positive guest relations and team collaboration
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate POS systems and handheld/mobile devices
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License

Preferred:

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience
  • Experience with tablet or smartphone-based ordering systems
Certification Requirements
  • TIPS Alcohol Awareness Certification or equivalent
  • ServSafe Certification (preferred or required based on assignment)
  • Nebraska Gaming License (required and must be maintained)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to carry trays of beverages and supplies (up to 25-30 lbs)
  • Exposure to loud, high-energy casino and entertainment environments
  • Frequent interaction with guests and team members in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to maintain composure and service quality under pressure
Schedule
  • Travel is not required for this position
  • Must be available to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods
