Summary of Position
Teaches courses in business analytics, in both face-to-face and web-based modalities, at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Engages with the business community and profession; engages in ongoing development of teaching; conducts research in the discipline leading to presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals; and contributes to the department, college and university in ways that support strategic priorities.

Position Information

Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.
Qualifications and Competencies
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None
Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization Status: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Minimum Qualifications: An earned PhD or DBA in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field in business, from an AACSB-accredited institution, or an earned PhD in Economics, by the time of appointment; experience teaching courses in business analytics; and experience conducting research in applicant's discipline.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to apply business analytics to business situations and applications in a hands-on learning environment. Experience collaborating in the business community. Professional work experience with business analytics.
Physical Requirements: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.
Sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria are met.
