As an Ecommerce Sales Associate with our family-owned company, you'll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, trust, and personal growth. This is a performance-based sales role where your results directly drive your success, giving you the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our guests, guide them through their jewelry journey, and help create moments they'll treasure.

SUMMARY

The Ecommerce Sales Associate is a performance-based sales role responsible for driving the overall sales of the website by meeting monthly individual and group sales goals. Using chat, phone, email, and SMS, you will guide guests to the right merchandise, answer questions about products, warranties, and policies, and support store associates with online orders. Success in this role is measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets while building lasting guest relationships and representing a company that has served families since 1910.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist guests in finding the right merchandise to meet their needs and drive sales.

Proactively engage with guests to share personalized recommendations and offers, building lasting relationships and encouraging purchases.

Answer questions regarding merchandise, warranties, and company policies for past and future guests.

Resolve guest complaints or connect them to the Guest Relations Department.

Assist guests with making payments and other basic credit inquiries.

Answer questions regarding order status.

Support store associates with questions and the placing of online orders.

Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Sales-Driven: Minimum 1 year of retail selling experience, with a proven ability to work toward and meet measurable individual and team sales goals in a performance-based environment.

Guest Service: Strong guest service skills with the ability to problem-solve while utilizing interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.

Communication: Excellent communication and written skills necessary for guiding guests over chat, phone, and email.

Typing Efficiency: Ability to type efficiently and accurately to manage multiple guest conversations at once without sacrificing quality.

Product Knowledge: Willingness to independently build product knowledge and online sales techniques.

Math Proficiency: Ability to accurately calculate selling price and discounts.

Education: High School Diploma required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Ability to operate a computer/tablet and the Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Email, Excel), and to troubleshoot technical issues with support from internal IT staff.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

SCHEDULE

This remote position requires availability to work weekday, evening, and weekend hours, with additional hours required during peak holiday seasons. This role also requires attendance at training sessions and some light travel to the home office.

PAY

$16-$18 an hour

BENEFITS

Health Insurance- Four plans available including prescription coverage.

Dental and Vision- Two dental plans, and a vision plan available.

Voluntary Benefits- Additional Voluntary benefits including Voluntary Life, Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Pet Insurance, and Fitness Discounts.

Paid Time Off- 40 hours after 3 months, then 80 hours at 1 year anniversary.

Overtime- May be eligible if meets all requirements.

Holiday Pay- New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Discounts- Associate discounts on store purchases available.

Wellness and other discounts- Employees that participate in the annual wellness event and are enrolled in company medical coverage are eligible for a Wellness discount. Fitness discounts are also available for both medical enrollees and those not enrolled.

Retirement / 401(k) Plan- Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) if eligibility is met, following one year anniversary. Company match is 40% of the first 5% that the employee contributes to the plan.
