Project Analyst, Senior - Payment Operations

What you'll do:

As a Senior Project Analyst, you will collaborate across the organization and lead the analysis and execution of complex business initiatives for assigned business lines. Acting as a strategic partner and subject matter expert, you will provide leadership across systems, processes, procedures, products, and services.
You will drive operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and deliver highimpact analytical insights that enable datadriven decisionmaking.
In this role, you will work closely with leadership and crossfunctional teams to lead and influence project outcomes, ensure initiatives align with organizational strategy, and promote continuous improvement. You will play a key role in guiding initiatives from analysis through execution, supporting project governance, and helping stakeholders achieve measurable business results.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, assess impacts, and prioritize initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

  • Lead efforts to document evaluate, and enhance business processes and procedures. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Design and manage complex reports, synthesize large datasets, and develop actionable insights that support executive decision-making.

  • Oversee change management initiatives by developing communication plans and ensuring smooth adoption of process and system changes.

  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and leadership to drive alignment, resolve challenges, and ensure successful project execution.

  • Assist Senior Project Manager in leading cross-functional meetings to communicate project status between stakeholders, gather feedback, update implementation plans, timelines, milestones, tasks, action items to ensure projects are delivered on time.

What you'll need:

  • 6+ years of related experience.

  • Understanding of EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Office) and ECM (Enterprise Change Management) governance frameworks and methodologies.

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with data analysis and research with the ability to identify and escalate cases or inquiries to mitigate bank risks.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite.

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with banking applications and systems preferred.

  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $88,430.00 - $109,236.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
