About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, verification, and lifecycle support of complex electrical systems for medical devices. This role combines electrical engineering, systems engineering, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to develop safe, reliable, and regulatory-compliant products.The ideal candidate has strong experience in medical device development, including hardware architecture, embedded systems integration, verification and validation, and compliance with FDA and international standards.

What You'll Do
  • Lead development of electrical system architecture for medical devices and associated subsystems
  • Define system requirements, interfaces, and performance specifications
  • Design and review analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics systems
  • Support sensor integration, signal conditioning, motor control, and communication interfaces
  • Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure full system integration
  • Translate user needs into technical requirements and traceability documentation
  • Perform system-level trade studies and technical risk assessments
  • Develop interface control documents (ICDs), block diagrams, and system models
  • Drive requirements management and change control processes

What We Look For
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7-12+ years of experience in electrical or systems engineering
  • Experience working with R20 Waveform systems
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design; embedded systems; power management; signal integrity and EMC; system integration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes; logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers and power analyzers
  • Experience with Class II or Class III medical devices
  • Understanding of imaging systems, surgical robotics, patient monitoring, wearables, and implantable devices

Experience with MATLAB/Simulink; Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD; DOORS or Jama; Python or embedded C/C++
