About This Role

Pelham Road Child Development Center is now hiring a full-time Assistant Toddler Teacher to work Monday-Friday, 830am-530pm. Educator will work with another teacher with children to provide developmentally appropriate engaging curriculum, maintain a loving and safe classroom, and follow all DSS licensing requirements.  We are looking for flexible, energetic, passionate teachers to work with our wonderful children and families.


What You'll Do
  • Follow all DSS licensing requirements
  • Offer a loving and caring environment
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom
  • Implement activities and duties from lead teacher
  • Feed, diaper, and interact with children
  • Document activities using an interactive App
  • Pick up and sit with children on the floor
  • Close classroom at the end of the day and restock needed items
  • Communicate with parents at pick up and throughout the day

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years old
  • at least 6 months experience in a licensed childcare center
