Your Opportunity
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new leads to close sales, cultivating customer relationships, and developing solid working relationships with EBSCO's publisher partners You will accomplish this by prospecting, following market leads, and establishing a strong sales pipeline in your assigned territory.
This remote position is U.S. based only (excluding U.S. territories). On occasion, travel for annual sales meetings or conferences.
What You'll Do
  • Create and generate activity in direct selling situations through telephone, e-mail, and virtual meetings
  • Understand the needs of our library customers, and tailor a solution best suited to their needs
  • Understand the competitive landscape and how to target and sell against the competition
  • Provide and coordinate demos of EBSCONET for our customers
  • Work closely with EBSCO's publisher partners to further drive sales in all markets
  • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customer opportunities

You will be welcomed as a member of our subscription services focused Inside Sales Team, working in all markets in an assigned territory. About You
  • 2+ years of sales experience in relatable industries
  • 2+ years of proven sales track record achieving sales milestones and target goals
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize work and make decisions
  • On occasion, the ability to travel for annual sales meetings or conferences
