As expectations around artificial intelligence in research continue to evolve, you will help articulate what differentiates EBSCO's approach, understand the needs and concerns of researchers, librarians, and institutions, and translate market and customer insights into compelling positioning and thought leadership.

What You'll Do
  • Own product marketing strategy for EBSCO's AI-powered research content capabilities, developing positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies and launch plans
  • Lead product marketing for EBSCOhost AI Exchange, building market awareness, articulating its value and differentiation, and developing strategies that drive engagement and pipeline, globally.
  • Help shape EBSCO's broader AI positioning and narrative, collaborating with internal stakeholders and leadership to establish a clear, differentiated point of view on the role of AI in research and discovery.
  • Serve as a go-to-market expert on EBSCO's AI capabilities and strategy, developing a deep understanding of the underlying technology, customer use cases, market dynamics, competitive environment, and areas where EBSCO can uniquely differentiate.
  • Develop a deep understanding of researchers' evolving behaviors and expectations, including how generative AI and AI-powered discovery tools are changing research workflows, information-seeking behavior, and expectations of libraries and research platforms.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Technology, Sales, Marketing, UX, Communications, and other teams to successfully bring new AI capabilities and experiences to market.
  • Monitor the rapidly evolving AI and research technology landscape, including competitors, emerging technologies, new research tools, and changing customer expectations.
  • Create sales enablement resources that equip customer-facing teams to confidently communicate the value of EBSCO's AI capabilities.
  • Develop compelling customer-facing and thought leadership content, including webinars, presentations, articles, solution guides, videos, product content, conference sessions, and other materials that educate the market and build confidence in EBSCO's approach to AI.
  • Establish and track measures of go-to-market success, using product adoption, engagement, customer research, campaign performance, sales feedback, and business metrics to evaluate results and continuously improve strategy.

You will be part of EBSCO Information Services' Marketing organization and work at the center of some of EBSCO's most strategic AI initiatives.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You will partner closely with Product Management, Technology, Sales, UX, Communications, Marketing, and company leadership to connect product strategy, customer needs, market dynamics, and go-to-market execution.

About You
  • 7+ years of product marketing or related experience, with a demonstrated track record of developing go-to-market strategies, positioning complex products, leading launches, and driving customer adoption.
  • Eperience with AI, SaaS, enterprise technology, research technology, information services, or similarly complex products.
  • Experience owning major product launches and initiatives from strategy through execution and aligning diverse teams around a common go-to-market plan.
  • Quickly understand complex technical concepts and translate them into meaningful customer value without oversimplifying the technology.
  • Utilize customer research, market intelligence, product analytics, campaign performance, and business metrics to evaluate opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across executive presentations, strategic briefs, customer-facing messaging, thought leadership, and sales enablement.
  • Comfortable operating in an evolving environment where the strategy, product, or market may not yet be fully defined and can bring structure, perspective, and forward momentum to ambiguous problems.
What sets you apart
  • Genuinely interested in AI and emerging technologies, continuously building your knowledge and helping product marketing teams navigate the evolving AI landscape within the information services industry.
  • Can turn complex products, technologies, and market dynamics into clear and compelling narratives and communicate both what a product does and why it matters.
  • Seek to deeply understand customer problems, behaviors, expectations, and concerns and use those insights to shape strategy.
  • Looks beyond individual products to understand broader shifts in technology, customer behavior, competition, and the research ecosystem.
  • Energized by emerging spaces and can make progress even when all the answers are not yet known.
  • Care deeply about clarity, accuracy, customer relevance, and the quality of work brought to market while recognizing the need to move quickly.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies, research trends, competitive developments, and evolving customer needs and actively share what you learn to strengthen the organization.
