Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact finance initiative focused on digitizing critical financial information to support regulatory compliance. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to coordinate cross-functional teams, guide executive stakeholders, and keep a complex program on track from planning through delivery. This is a position that requires strong leadership, structured execution, and comfort working with early morning team schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the project from initiation through completion, overseeing plans, timelines, budgets, communications, and governance activities to achieve agreed business outcomes.

• Build and maintain a detailed project roadmap that outlines milestones, dependencies, resource needs, risks, and key delivery dates across participating teams.

• Coordinate daily execution across finance, technology, and external service partners, resolving obstacles quickly to protect schedule and quality targets.

• Partner with internal teams and third-party providers to define near-term process or automation approaches that address immediate needs while supporting long-range scalability.

• Run governance forums such as steering committees and workstream meetings, while maintaining issue logs, decision records, and change tracking documentation.

• Monitor scope, risk, and project changes proactively, ensuring that impacts are assessed, communicated, and managed appropriately.

• Identify connections across business units and incorporate cross-functional dependencies into the overall delivery plan to support integrated execution.

• Maintain project records, approvals, procedures, test evidence, and related documentation in alignment with internal standards and audit expectations.

• Advocate for the project team by escalating blockers, aligning stakeholders, and promoting practical improvements as business requirements evolve.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 10 years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, preferably within finance or technology-driven environments.
• Proven ability to work with senior leaders and executive stakeholders, using strong written and verbal communication to drive alignment and decisions.
• Hands-on experience managing vendor-supported solutions and coordinating delivery across internal and external partners.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of project governance, risk management, change control, budgeting, and quality oversight practices.
• Availability to support early morning collaboration needs in a hybrid work setting.
