We are looking for early risers! We are looking to hire for the 4:00am opening shift, this shift runs until 9am
Position Summary:
As a Front Desk Associate at Gold's Gym Lake Ridge, you are the first point of contact for our members and guests. Your role is essential in setting the tone for a positive and engaging gym experience. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, supporting daily gym operations, and ensuring every member feels welcomed, informed, and motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet members, guests, and staff in a friendly, professional, and energetic manner.
  • Check members into the system and verify memberships.
  • Handle incoming calls, answer questions about gym services and policies, and route inquiries as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area.
  • Assist with member check-ins and account questions and membership sales
  • Manage retail transactions, including selling merchandise, snacks, and beverages using POS systems.
  • Monitor gym traffic to ensure member safety and proper facility usage.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, and maintain accurate shift notes and reports if necessary
  • Promote upcoming events, training packages, and club initiatives.
  • Follow company procedures and uphold Gold's Gym brand standards.
  • Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles preferred.
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Understanding of cash handling and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
  • Current CPR certification (required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
