• Assess and Evaluate: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of individuals to analyze their physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning, aiming to create effective and tailored treatment plans.
• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with each patient to establish personalized goals, designing interventions that focus on improving mobility, self-care capabilities, and cognitive skills.
• Provide Hands-On Therapy: Deliver direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, adaptive activities, and guidance on assistive technologies, ensuring that treatments are both engaging and effective.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Actively engage with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for patients.
• Track Progress: Systematically monitor patients’ progress towards therapeutic goals, documenting treatment outcomes, and making appropriate adjustments to treatment plans when necessary.
• Patient Education: Equip patients and their families with knowledge about recovery techniques, adaptive strategies, and exercises to facilitate self-management and to promote long-term success beyond therapy.
• Maintain Records: Ensure meticulous and timely documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress while adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
• Stay Updated: Regularly engage in professional development activities, staying informed on the latest evidence-based practices and emerging technologies relevant to the field of occupational therapy.

This position primarily involves working with a diverse patient population at our Early Interventional Center. You will support children, adolescents, and adults in overcoming challenges related to developmental delays, injuries, or disabilities. Your expertise will help empower these individuals to enhance their functional abilities and improve their quality of life.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: A valid and active Occupational Therapy License in the state of Texas.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, particularly in an outpatient or early intervention setting.
• Skills: Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients and their families, and a patient-centered approach to care.

The Occupational Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
