Job Description

This position is a HYBRID position with a minimum of 3 days onsite in our Easton, PA location. The right candidate will provide day-to-day support for Victaulic's Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) and Business Excellence initiatives, reporting to the Business Excellence Manager and working closely with the ePMO&OE team. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to assist with process mapping sessions, waste reduction identification, and continuous improvement activities. Key focus areas include support for the Project Unite ERP upgrade/migration and the Business Excellence program implementation. This position is designed for someone eager to develop expertise in operational excellence while contributing to Victaulic's growth objectives, providing practical experience with Lean principles, Lean Six Sigma tools, and business process optimization within our global organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Focus for first few years will be on supporting process mapping initiatives for the Project Unite ERP upgrade/migration and the Business Excellence program
Learn and utilize Lean, Lean Six Sigma with the intention of becoming a certified trainer in four of the following Lean skill sets:
  • Lean Awareness
  • Baseline (Business and Factory/Branches)
  • SUR (Set-Up Reduction)
  • Method Sheets
  • Mistake Proofing / Problem Solving (Basic)
  • Standard Work
  • 5S
  • Pull/Kanban (including fixed time sequencing)
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
  • Lean Six Sigma
Apply Lean skill sets learned to collaborate with cross-functional teams to help identify waste reduction opportunities, document process gaps, and assist with establishing metrics for continuous improvement tracking, as applicable
Assist in educating all areas of the business on the ePMO &OE project intake process to help ensure proper project assessment, prioritization, and resource allocation
Learn and utilize basic transformation skills such as project management and change management, as applicable
Contribute to Operational Excellence program implementation while learning and sharing best practices from internal and external sources
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels and across multiple departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong learning orientation and adaptability to new processes and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • 1+ years of experience in process improvement, project management, business analysis, or organizational change roles strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of improvement methodologies such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, change management, or project management frameworks strongly preferred
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus
  • Experience with process mapping software (Visio, iGrafx, Signavio) or business intelligence tools (Qlik) a plus
  • Training or facilitation experience a plus
  • Ability to be onsite at our corporate headquarters in Easton, PA a minimum of 3 days per week.
