Job Description
As our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Developer, you'll conduct ED new implementations, transactions analysis, debugging and testing according to specifications. You'll interface with users to determine system requirements and coordinate customer requirements with existing capabilities. You'll work with the Application Engineers to design, build, test and implement EDI transactions. You'll formulate system scope and objectives and convert symbolic statements of problems into appropriate specifications for coding EDI transactions. You'll provide EDI production systems support, interfacing directly with internal and external Business partners. This opportunity also involves fielding production support calls as the first point of contact, researching and analyzing problems, coordinating the correction of translation errors and re-processing EDI transactions. In addition, you'll collaborate with other IT functions to create and integrate solutions and perform other accountabilities as assigned.
Requirements for the position include:
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or anequivalent technical degree
  • Five Years' experience with EDItransactions, implementations, & standards is required
  • Experience in IT, business orrelated experience is preferred, specifically technical or retail customerservice
  • Strong technical aptitude withthe ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
  • Strong customer service andcommunication skills
  • Results oriented and a drive tomake things happen
  • Experience with technicalanalysis including the ability to define business impacts, discover andrecommend solutions
  • Retail industry, Finance and/orlogistics systems experience is required
  • Experience or exposure to SAP(Sales and Distribution module) and IDOC's is a plus

Day to Day
EDI Developer to join the Global Supply Chain & Analytics team. This resource will work directly with the business, retailers, customers and 3PL providers.
