E15 Research & Insights Internship. July 2026 - September 2026. 

You're someone who loves spreadsheets and formulas as much as sampling a new recipe or visiting your favorite restaurant. You're a creative problem solver, a collaborator, and an innovator. To you, there's nothing better than uncovering the "Why?" or solving a tough problem.

Join us in Chicago for the internship with E15, a data analytics and information services company, and Compass Group, the largest foodservice contract company on the planet. 

Position Description: 

As an Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work with our Research & Insights team as they execute market research projects designed to uncover insights that drive our new business opportunities. You will be matched with an E15 team member and collaborate on projects for new business opportunities that are designed to uncover consumer food and beverage behaviors, such as better understanding what drives consumers to dine at their workplace or what barriers exist to purchasing food and beverage when attending a university. The position is intended to be in-person working from E15's Home Office located in downtown Chicago, IL 2-3 days per week, with 2-3 remote workdays per week.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze primary and secondary data to identify key themes and gain new insights 

  • Monitor food and beverage trends that impact our clients 

  • Summarize research findings in a clear and concise manner 

  • Build polished, insightful reports for both internal and external stakeholders 

  • Present/communicate analysis to internal stakeholders
