Description:

Makwa Global is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Technician to support critical RDT&E logistics operations at NUWCDIVNPT. You will serve as a primary agent for inventory accuracy, customer service, and discrepancy resolution. Your work directly ensures that naval engineers and scientists receive the exact materials they need, when they need them, maintaining strict FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily physical inventories, cycle counts, and location surveys across multiple warehouse facilities, documenting results in Navy ERP (SAP).
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies (overages, shortages, and damages) and process frustrated materials.
  • Interface directly with Government customers to troubleshoot supply issues, expedite priority requirements, and provide status updates on material expenditures.
  • Perform Care of Supply in Storage (COSIS) inspections, ensuring shelf-life items and certified materials (SUBSAFE/DSS-SOC) are properly maintained.
  • Utilize Navy ERP and WebFLIS to verify National Stock Numbers (NSNs), part numbers, and technical specifications.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or DoD logistics.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems (experience with Navy ERP/SAP is highly desired).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD CAC/Security Clearance.
