NXTPoint is seeking a high performing Sales Executive for the Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Line of Business. In this role you will support the strategy and vision of the SCS vertical as it relates to new business opportunities and customer diversification. This work includes establishing and nurturing new customer relationships, supporting and executing our Go-to-Market strategy, and supporting the execution of the NXTPoint Commercial Strategy.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business development within NXTPoint's specialized logistics and 3PL solutions portfolio, with a focus on Furniture, Fixtures &Equipment (FF&E), B2B final-mile, and transportation management services. This role requires a consultative sales approach to deliver tailored solutions for Customers requiring white glove project management solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting customers in:
    • FF&E logistics (retail, restaurant, convenience store, healthcare, commercial projects)
    • New store openings/closures, rebranding/remodel project management, fixture rollouts, forward deployed warehouse consolidation
    • Consolidation and distribution programs/projects in the defined sectors
    • B2B Final-mile and white-glove delivery solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within SCS and NXTPoint offerings
  • Conduct consultative discovery to understand complex customer needs and design tailored logistics solutions while leveraging the complete service offering of NXTPoint Logistics
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to develop custom 3PL solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including:
    • Prospecting
    • Solution design
    • Proposal development
    • Contract negotiation
    • Onboarding assistance
  • Establish and maintain strong Customer relationships through high emotional intelligence and service orientation
  • Stay informed on market trends within freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, and specialized supply chain services
  • Participate in and lead sales presentations and negotiations.
  • Meet or exceed annual individual sales goals and objectives within the prescribed time frame
  • Complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner and maintain data in the Customer Relationship Management system (Hubspot
  • Leverage sales enablement tools (Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to create prospects based on the ideal customer profile.
  • Participate in specified industry conferences on a national, regional and local basis.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department in leading proposals, presentations, RFPs and other collateral materials, as required.
  • Work closely with Sales and Contracts team on pricing, contract terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, to include customers, service partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Accept additional job assignments and participates in project work as requested.

Education & Experience:
College degree or equivalent work experience required; Minimum 3 (three) years business development experience in relevant sales role within industry; Proven track record of developing prospects and securing new Customers; Prior familiarity with freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, consolidation/distribution, final-mile B2B white glove delivery & Project/Installation Services.
Travel:
Travels to support marketplace activity and company requirements - 25%-40% travel requirements.
