Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Associate / General Labourer to support manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role involves performing a variety of manual labor tasks, material handling activities, and general production duties while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn multiple job functions, work across different areas as needed, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality. Key Responsibilities Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, lifting, moving, and organizing materials. Assist with manufacturing, production, and warehouse operations as required. Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to support production activities. Follow written instructions, work orders, and verbal directions from supervisors. Maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to safety and quality standards. Support material movement and inventory handling throughout the facility. Inspect materials and work areas for safety and quality concerns. Maintain clean and organized workspaces through good housekeeping practices. Assist in multiple departments and perform cross-functional duties after training. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Hig h School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or general labor environment. Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Basic math skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, construction, assembly, or warehouse operations. Experience operating material handling equipment. Cross-training or experience performing multiple job functions in a production environment. Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and manufacturing best practices. Certifications No specific certifications required. Forklift Certification or other material handling certifications are a plus. OSHA or workplace safety training is beneficial. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and twist materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and perform manual labor tasks throughout the shift. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
