The Role
This position is responsible for creating and developing learning and performance improvement materials. This role focuses on the creation of engaging, effective, and scalable learning content that meets the needs of all learning audiences and aligns with the organizations business goals. The position focuses on execution of content development with initial storyboards provided by Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) in consultation with the business.
What You'll Do
  • Create engaging learning materials based on LXD designs and storyboards, including:
    • Microlearning content
    • eLearning modules
    • Instructor-led training materials
    • Job aids and supporting resources
  • Collaborate with LXDs, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure content meets learning objectives and business needs
  • Participate in design discussions and share ideas to improve content development processes and tools
  • Review and edit materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Perform quality checks to ensure content meets established standards and guidelines
  • Stay up to date on learning trends, tools, and best practices in instructional design
  • Recommend new approaches or technologies to enhance learning effectiveness
Additional Qualification

We're looking for someone who combines creativity, technical skill, and strong collaboration. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Experience creating scalable learning solutions for classroom, virtual, and online environments
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
  • Ability to design engaging learning experiences, from immersive simulations to quick, impactful microlearning
  • Confidence developing and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Strong visual design and storytelling skills, including experience with storyboarding and course development
  • Proficiency with eLearning tools and platforms such as Storyline, Canva, Mural, HTML5, Adobe Creative Cloud, and video editing tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design or educational content development.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred in instructional design, education, or a related field.
Physical Actions
  • Work may be performed in-office or remotely (approved locations)
  • Primarily a seated role with extended computer use
  • Occasional movement within the workplace and light lifting (up to 25 lbs)
