Job description

An established law firm seeks a Legal Systems Trainer to support attorneys and staff with hands-on training across firm-standard software and systems. The main focus of this role is on onboarding, ongoing education, and improving user adoption of technology, with a strong emphasis on legal staff development. This role requires flexibility, occasional travel, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person, virtual, and one-on-one training for attorneys and staff
  • Lead new hire onboarding and facilitate ongoing workshops and refresher sessions
  • Provide real-time support and coaching on best practices and firm technology
  • Partner with HR to assess skill gaps and support development plans
  • Assist in developing training materials, guides, and eLearning content (video experience a plus)
  • Help maintain training schedules, attendance tracking, and feedback in the LMS
  • Recommend improvements to enhance user experience and training effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of training experience in a mid to large sized law firm
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with legal tech (e.g., NetDocuments, Litera, Intapp) is a plus
  • Experience creating eLearning or training content preferred
