Job description

Job Title: Microsoft 365 Administrator    

Job Location: Washington, DC

Target Pay Rate: $40-$50hr

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Configure and maintain the D365 F&O and Commerce system, including security roles, user permissions, and system settings.

2. Manage user access, security roles, and permissions.

3. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

4. Implement and maintain system integrations with other applications.

5. Manage data migrations and data cleansing.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define solutions.

7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

8. Provide guidance and best practices for optimizing operational engagement

9. Extend the capability of the application through the creation of new entities, forms, workflows, and reports

10. Contribute to the technology roadmap for the organization with respect to the Dynamics ecosystem

11. Work with multiple teams to meet internal systems needs.

12. Obtain and/or enhance knowledge about Microsoft Dynamics 365 infrastructure, Office365, 3rd party add-on products.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This position supervises the following position:

1. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of four (4) years of practical experience in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree.

2. Experience with Dynamics application architecture, designing and building custom workflows.

3. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dataverse.

4. Strong understanding of business processes and requirements analysis.

5. Proficiency in SQL and other database management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university

2. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications

3. Superior Technical proficiency with SQL for reviewing data, troubleshooting, developing user reports, and testing/validating source system data

4. Experience developing and maintaining automated data exchange via EDI, flat files, etc.

5. Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services

6. Previous work experience with a non-profit organization
