Duracell is seeking an E&I plant technician as a member of a work team. E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously update and train to increase their skills to meet our ever-changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals and maintaining the high level of quality in everything they do.
Responsibilities
E&I technicians do various types of work, including but not limited to the following:
โ€ข Makes electrical repairs to run high-speed equipment
โ€ข Executes planned maintenance tasks
โ€ข Performs preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment
โ€ข Gets involved, takes charge of situations, and confronts business-related problems
โ€ข Displays electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment
โ€ข Maintains accurate records and data
Qualifications
โ€ข Must be 18 years of age or older
โ€ข Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
โ€ข Must have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2+ years Industrial electrical experience
โ€ข Must be Low Voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within first month of onboarding
โ€ข Need to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed application
โ€ข Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC controls and computers
โ€ข Use basic hand and power tools
โ€ข Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms
โ€ข Twist, turn and bend; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time
