Job description

The F&A GBS Accounts Receivable Intern will support the AR team with customer collections, deduction analysis, and payment follow-up for the French market. The role provides exposure to the order-to-cash cycle and allows the intern to gain hands-on experience in accounts receivable processes while helping identify billing or payment issues. This is a 6 to 9 month internship, ideal for a student or recent graduate starting a career in finance.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
  • Able to sign an internship agreement (convenio de practicas) with a university or business school for the full 6 to 9 months. Previous exposure to finance, collections or customer service is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn new systems is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Detail and time-oriented individual who takes ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, continuously changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • French proficient and English at a professional working level; Spanish is a plus.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, functions and formulas); eagerness to develop further is valued.
  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable transactions.
  • Support invoicing processes and ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and support collection activities.
  • Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to AR.
  • Manage customer and internal queries within established KPIs and SLAs.
  • Communication with Customers, Sales, Finance, Order Management and Accounts Receivable team via email and calls.
  • Participate in monthly management meetings with the market.
  • Review of the AR balances and open items with the AR Team Lead.
