Job description

DRUG TESTING TECHNICIAN
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Drug Testing Technicians for a company based in Columbiana, AL. In this role, you will provide direct, face-to-face interaction with the candidates to ensure the integrity of the specimen and collection process.
However, due to the nature of the position, which involves direct observation of male donors during urine drug screening collection, this position requires a male observer.

Pay Rate
$14.00 to $16.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 7 00 pm and Saturdays 8 00 am until 5 00 pm.

Drug Testing Technicians Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurately collect urine, saliva, hair, or other biological samples from donors.
  • Follow strict chain of custody protocols to prevent tampering and ensure the validity and integrity of the samples.
  • Greet clients, explain procedures, ensure they don't bring unauthorized items into the collection area, and provide information on test results.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow established policies, and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and logs related to the drug screening process.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding donor information and test results.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Drug Testing Technicians Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must have high school diploma and be at least 21 years of age.
  • CNA and Bilingual experience is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel between locations, Columbiana / Pelham
  • Must wear scrubs, paid by employee
