Instructing

All conducted in our fleet of Honda Civic's Hatchbacks. Equipped with instructor brakes & instructor mirrors.

Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on behind-the-wheel instruction to students, demonstrating safe driving techniques in various road conditions
• Assess students’ progress regularly and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for all learners
• Ensure all training complies with local licensing regulations and industry standards
• Manage scheduling of lessons efficiently, being on time and professional.
• Document student performance, attendance, and progress accurately with DocuSign forms for each student.
Experience
• Valid driver license.
• Demonstrated ability to manage environments effectively, especially when working with adult learners or new drivers
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback to students of diverse backgrounds
• Prior classroom management experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for teaching is essential
• Familiarity with adult education principles and working with students of varying skill levels enhances effectiveness
Training
• 40 hours of behind-the-wheel training (observing student lessons & training techniques, lesson planning, route plans) Paid at training rate, not hiring rate.
• 10 hours of IPAD, Documents, E-learning resources. (Self-paced and done on your own time)
• 50 hours of studying for ADOT Instructor test. AZ Laws & Regulations, Title 17 & Title 28, Driver Manual, Instructor Handbook & Driving School Curriculum. (Self-paced & done on your own time)
