The Role

Our Drayage sales team is dedicated to coordinating the inland transfer of shipping containers, from ports and rail ramps to our clients' warehouses. These containers, serving as mobile storage units, are rented by companies to facilitate the overseas transport of their commodities. The challenge and focus of Drayage are to efficiently manage the pickup and return of these containers through strategic partnerships with trucking companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use tools such as Panjiva, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and more to generate sales leads.
  • Engage potential clients through targeted cold-calling and email campaigns.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies for Drayage lanes (e.g., Savannah to Atlanta) and liaise with trucking companies for capacity coordination.
  • Oversee the scheduling of container pick-ups and deliveries in our TMS.
  • Monitor and manage the financials of your customer portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Drayage Operations team for seamless end-to-end Drayage moves.
  • Partner with all departments to realize our commitment to the perfect shipment.
