Designer/Drafting Supervisor

When biodiesel, oil seed crushing, bioplastics, biomass, ethanol or wind producers need a design built, our client is the one they call. They provide some of the most innovative, cost effective and efficient solutions available to their customers. Because of their tremendous growth they are in need of an Designer/Drafting Supervisor. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

·              Will train new designers in 3D modeling.

·              Perform annual reviews and monitor performance of the drafting team

·              Assign new project, oversee work flow and monitor design progress.

·              Review work to ensure accuracy and NBB standards are utilized.

·              Occasionally perform electrical, mechanical and structural design work.

·              Perform solid modeling of plant assemblies and piping systems utilizing CADWorx 3D.

·              Create, modify, organize, and optimize large and complex assemblies using AutoCAD.


BACKGROUND PROFILE:

·              A minimum of an AAS in Drafting/Design or applicable discipline

·              A minimum of 5 years of experience

·              CADWorx 3D is a must.

·              Microsoft Office Products

·              Adobe Acrobat Professional or Bluebeam Revu

·              Document Tracking Database

·              Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills

·              Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

·              Good organizational skills.
