Job description

  • The Civil CAD Technician should provide drafting and design support for the Civil Engineering Department during the planning, design and construction of each of the company's projects.

  • This position will utilize AutoCAD to translate markups into drawings, check and plot drawings, correctly label final drawings and update contract drawings.

  • This position is also responsible for setting up and maintaining standard drawing files in accordance with company drafting standards as applicable to each project, obtaining work assignments of specific design elements from Design Engineers to help ensure schedule and reviewing all work for completeness and accuracy.
