Job description

We are seeking a skilled draftsman to join our team.
The draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on the specifications given by engineers.
These drawings will be used as blueprints to guide the technicians as to how to move forward with their job.
Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of HVAC systems, Plumbing, and Electrical codes and regulations. A good understanding of scale when doing drawings.
The role of the draftsman is to translate conceptual designs into a set of technical instructions for a project execution.
Synergy Companies is a full service Energy and environmental management contractor specializing in residential and small commercial energy upgrade products and services.
Responsibilities:
  • Creating detailed computer-aided design drawings as per the instructions and specifications provided by the engineers
  • Revising and updating existing drawings reflecting design changes
  • Ensuring final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand and implement project objectives
  • Checking drawings for mistakes and inaccuracies
  • Creating and altering construction sketches
  • Follow project schedules and deadlines
  • Maintaining organized work files and project documentation
  • Conduct site assessments to determine suitability for development
