We're seeking a customer-focused team member to support our service operations. This role includes quoting services, providing technical support, assisting with training, and ensuring accurate invoicing and documentation. You'll play a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction through onsite visits, evaluations, and ongoing support for both mechanical and electrical services.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain payables system and related schedules.
- Customer satisfaction with product and service
- Customer Courtesy Visits to promote all Doppelmayr Service Activities
- Quote In-house and field Services for both Mechanical and Electrical
- Provide technical support via phone, email and onsite
- Ensure all customer service activities are accurately invoiced, with proper documentation and reporting completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Assist with customer training both in house and onsite.
- Assist and advise customers on minor modifications.
- Onsite evaluation of customer equipment and maintenance activities.
- Attend and participate in industry trade shows and seminars.
- Onsite review and assistance of field service activities when required.
Your Profile
- Candidate must have at least a High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Excellent communication skills with high level of professionalism and accuracy via phone and email.
- A wide range of Aerial tramway knowledge that should include regulatory requirements, NDT, manuals, industry best practices. Field service activities that include but are not limited to: Grip rebuild and inspection, sheave train rebuild, terminal maintenance, BW bearings, haul rope replacements and rope shortenings.
- Basic computer skills to include Excel, Word, SMS and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of service activities to provide accurate quotes, including scope of work, expected duration, and cost.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the ski area industry or a related field.
- Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance background.
- Customer Service background would be helpful.
- Requires International travel to other Doppelmayr facilities for training and meetings
