Job description

Overview

Join Sunday River's Mountain Ops Electrical Team and spend your days in the mountains! Ski Lift Electricians perform preventative and curative maintenance on all ski lifts at the resort. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a wide array of low and high-voltage systems, be able to read electrical schematics, use an electrical meter, and have basic knowledge and experience with electrical troubleshooting. This position works closely with all Mountain Operations teams to ensure a high-quality guest experience. 

Keep the mountain running smoothly and enjoy front row seats to spectacular alpine sunrises and sunsets while you work! 


Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced maintenance functions as required by codes regulating the operation of Aerial Tramways along with those set forth by the manufacturer of the lifts 
  • Perform adjustments and inspections to lifts 
  • Rebuild basic and advanced components 

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with detachable and fixed grip chairlifts 
  • Education and experience with high and low voltage control and PLC driven systems 
  • Proficiency with industrial controls, including programming and troubleshooting PLCs and digital drives 
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation and email 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing
