Hours may include:
1st- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM; 7: 00 AM - 3:00 PM; 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
2nd- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
3rd- 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM; 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
* Schedule hours and days vary by location. Weekend shift availability is required for ALL positions*
Pay Rate COE: $18.00 PH
Key Responsibilities:
  • Professionally manage entry and exit points, verifying identities, and ensuring that only authorized individuals access the building.
  • Utilize surveillance systems to monitor the premises, promptly responding to any suspicious activity or security concerns.
  • Understand specific and general instructions, including additional and emergency protocols.
  • Record data accurately, including property damage, unusual occurrences, and equipment malfunctions, reporting to both building and BSA management.
  • Maintain clear and accurate logs related to people, property, and packages.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all individuals encountered while on duty.
  • Identify and register all residents and visitors upon arrival, ensuring proper sign-in procedures.
  • Monitor security cameras within the facility and respond to incidents, including property emergencies.
  • Enforce access control procedures set by building management.
  • Keep the lobby area clean and organized, contributing to a positive first impression for residents and visitors.
  • Clean debris, snow, and ice from sidewalks.
  • Doormen should stay at their assigned location at all times, excluding during scheduled breaks, when using the restroom, or when required in another area in the building by the on-site manager.
  • When leaving assigned posts, it is the responsibility of the doorman to seek coverage from building staff.

  • Confidentiality: Strictly adhere to a policy of discretion and confidentiality. Do not engage in gossip or share rumors about residents, fellow staff, or any sensitive matters related to the building.
  • Professionalism: Uphold a high standard of professionalism at all times. Your conduct sets the tone for the building's environment, and residents should perceive you as focused, reliable, and committed to your responsibilities.
  • Favoritism Prohibition: Maintain impartiality and professionalism. Refrain from providing special favors or privileges to specific residents, guests, or colleagues.
  • Workplace Communication: Limit communication to work-related matters during duty hours. Engaging in personal conversations, including discussions of personal affairs or unrelated topics, is not permitted.
  • Cell Phone Usage: Cell phones are strictly prohibited during duty hours. Ensure that personal devices do not interfere with your responsibilities, and refrain from using them for personal matters.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a Doorman/Concierge role, with a minimum of Three years experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with residents, guests, and fellow staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and keen observational skills to monitor security systems and identify potential issues or threats.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling scheduled shifts and responsibilities.
  • Must maintain an active working telephone number for communication purposes.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 20lbs.

EXPERIENCE:
Required-
  • Basic understanding of doorman/concierge/security responsibilities and the ability to be trained. Ability to read basic operating instructions.
  • Three-year doorman/concierge/security experience.
