Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Bellman/Doorman to join the team.

Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: In the Bellman/Doorman role, you will welcome and escort arriving and departing guests in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their room accommodations, parking & retrieving guest vehicles (when needed), as well as provide general information regarding the hotel and local attractions, maintain an even flow of guest luggage and belongings to and from guest rooms, and provide storage of the luggage promptly and safely, providing personal & professional service to guests.

About You: You have a passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Handling guest luggage upon arrival and departure.
  • Acting as a lobby ambassador to welcome guests and provide information on local attractions.
  • Escorting guests to rooms and explaining hotel amenities & room features.
  • Ensuring the lobby is clean and orderly
  • Working collaboratively with the Guest Services & Valet teams to ensure a seamless arrival & departure
