Job description

Responsibilities

Assists the Account Managers in the achievement of whole blood and apheresis collection goals.

This is a PRN position.

Essential Functions:

  • Completion of telemarketing functions to educate, thank and sign-up donors for future donations.
  • Perform on-site recruitment, sign-up tables, and donor flow assistance for blood drives.
  • Help educate and convert donors to double red and platelet donations where appropriate.
  • Assist Marketing efforts through help with packing, distribution, and inventorying of incentive items, labelling products with recruitment related tags, and telemarketing of sweepstakes winners and Donor/Recipient Meet and Greet attendees.
  • Help with preparation efforts for special events (i.e. contacting invitees for participation lists, setting up gift tables, refreshments, check in tables etc.)
  • Assist with data entry and organizational needs of the department.
  • Exemplifies CBC's Customer Service Mission and Core Values.

Other Functions:

  • Makes recommendations to improve organizational processes.
  • Any related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to three (2-3) years' experience in sales and marketing or customer service

Licenses / Certifications:

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Experience:

Entry level position

Some experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service or performing duties in a related area preferred.

Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

 Knowledge:

Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems.

Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite)

Knowledge of Missouri and Kansas driving laws as applicable.
