Job description

Sponsler - Donley Ford of Ashland is looking for a Mobile Automotive Service Technician to join their growing team. This individual will provide dependable mobile automotive servicing, diagnostic and repair services to customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic factory recalls, replace filters, batteries, program keys, perform basic diagnostics, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacement.
  • Diagnose vehicle issues as needed
  • Keep accurate records including time, materials, and costs associated to each repair
  • Observe and maintain company safety regulations
  • Communicate with customers in regard to repairs and status
  • Explain repairs and processes to customers

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preferred (but not required) three years of experience in automotive repair
  • Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment
  • Ability and willingness to work on any make or model car
  • Ability to diagnose vehicle issues
  • Basic knowledge of the principles of automotive systems and their diagnostic & repair procedures
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and excellent customer service skills
