The primary objective of this role is to conduct various imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays, at a technical level that does not necessitate constant oversight.

• Provide technical support and compassionate patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and other staff in addressing the needs of patients throughout the facility.
• Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment, including but not limited to X-ray, CT, CR readers, and PACS.
• Conduct all imaging examinations in compliance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, ensuring that the attending physician is informed of the results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under the supervision of the physician and/or nurse on duty.
• Keep accurate documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and conduct lab tests in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations.
• Ensure an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables necessary for quality testing.
• Carry out routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks for all imaging equipment, following established protocols.
• Conduct Quality Control as mandated by the laboratory.
• Participate in Proficiency Testing and/or Split Sample analysis as required by the facility.
• Maintain records of all analytical activities for a minimum of two years.
• Execute all Quality Assessment activities assigned to this role and document these for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Laboratory Director.

• Fulfill duties as an ER Technician as needed.
• Ensure an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables for quality testing.
• Conduct routine maintenance and function checks for all imaging equipment as per established protocols.
• Travel to various facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings or other company-sponsored or mandated gatherings as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program is required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology is preferred.
• Certification as a medical radiologic technologist as mandated by the state of practice is required.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography is required.
• Registration with the ARRT in computed tomography is preferred, with the following exceptions:
• CT certification is required for the Las Vegas market.
• CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire for the Pennsylvania market.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• 2+ years of experience in radiology/imaging is preferred.
• 1+ years of CT experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, including manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
