Administrative & Warehouse Operations
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you looking for a role that combines office administration, logistics coordination, and hands-on warehouse operations? We are seeking a Gateway Office Operations Agent to support the movement of temperature-sensitive shipments while ensuring exceptional accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
This position offers a unique blend of administrative responsibilities and physical warehouse work, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, problem solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Approximately 50% of the role is computer-based and 50% involves hands-on operational support.
What You'll Do
Logistics & Shipment Coordination
  • Process domestic and international shipments for export and delivery
  • Verify shipping documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Coordinate cargo bookings and shipment movement
  • Monitor on-hold shipments and take appropriate action to keep deliveries on schedule
  • Communicate with internal teams and international offices regarding shipment requirements

Administrative Operations
  • Manage and respond to individual and group email accounts
  • Review and process shipment updates through internal systems
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and shipment tracking records
  • Generate and complete daily operational reports
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies and document findings

Cold Chain & Packaging Operations
  • Prepare and refurbish reusable temperature-controlled packaging
  • Support cold chain replenishment activities
  • Handle gel pack preparation, configuration, and refurbishment
  • Follow detailed temperature handling instructions to maintain product integrity
  • Assist with customer packaging requirements

Warehouse Support
  • Operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently
  • Handle incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Lift, move, and organize packaging materials and freight
  • Support warehouse operations as needed to meet customer requirements

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Preferred
  • Logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
  • Cold chain handling experience
  • Warehouse or shipping and receiving experience
  • Experience working with temperature-sensitive products

Work Environment
This position combines office and warehouse responsibilities. Team members will work in both administrative and operational settings throughout the day.
The role includes temporary exposure to refrigerated environments while handling products entering and exiting walk-in coolers and freezers.
