Our client seeks a senior technical writer responsible for policy documentation supporting the enterprise risk framework and management within the Canadian Wealth business segment. The specialist will develop, maintain, and enhance policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and related governance documentation. The role will partner with stakeholders, subject matter experts, risk and compliance teams, and operational leaders to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, usable, and aligned with organizational objectives. The specialist will drive consistency across documentation standards and support regulatory, audit, operational excellence, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and governance documentation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, risk and compliance teams, and operational leaders.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, compliance, usability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drive consistency across documentation standards and templates.
  • Support regulatory and audit readiness through controlled documentation.

  • Manage version control, change history, and governance workflows.
  • Facilitate reviews, approvals, and periodic updates with accountable owners.

Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a policy and procedure documentation specialist or senior technical writer.

  • Experience working with stakeholders across risk, compliance, audit, and operations.
