PCG Consulting International is a trusted leader in construction management and project advisory services, delivering complex infrastructure projects in highly regulated, operational environments.


We partner with owners, contractors, and public agencies to execute mission-critical work including major airport projects across the United States We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support construction delivery at DFW International Airport.


This role works across both field and office functions, ensuring construction work is coordinated, approved, and executed within strict operational and scheduling constraints. Success in this role requires an understanding of construction in active, regulated environments such as airports or similar high-compliance facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of construction activities in an active airport environment
  • Coordinate with:
  • Project Manager
  • Superintendent
  • QA/QC teams
  • Subcontractors
  • Track and manage:
  • Submittals
  • RFIs
  • Change events
  • Project documentation
  • Assist with project scheduling and sequencing of work
  • Review drawings and ensure alignment with field execution
  • Support permitting, badging, and operational approvals
  • Identify issues early and escalate before impacting schedule

Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in construction project environments
  • Experience supporting:
  • Project Managers and/or Superintendents
  • Coordination and documentation workflows
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (P6, MS Project, or similar)
  • Experience working in active, operational environments (airport, transit, military base, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at DFW Airport strongly preferred
  • Experience on airport, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects
  • Familiarity with airside operations, safety protocols, or restricted-access environments
  • Experience with Procore or similar platforms
