ASSISTANT MANAGER - JIFFY LUBE MULTICARE
*PLEASE READ REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION BEFORE APPLYING*
Position Purpose:
To ensure customers receives exceptional customer service, while providing complete, error free professional service for his/her vehicle and to maintain a pleasant, safe work environment.
  • Assist Store Manager in day to day management duties.
  • Manage store operation in absence of Store Manager.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Understand and comply with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Ensure employees perform required procedures and follow all policies as outlined in JTSS documentation.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained.
  • Handle personnel issues in absence of Store Manager in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the store is opened and closed promptly.
  • Counsel employees in absence of Store Manager, as needed.
  • Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and JTSS documentation.
  • Assist Store Manager in training, leading and developing employees in accordance with JTSS guidelines.
  • Assist management team in upholding store image standards.
  • Other duties as requested or assigned.

Job Competencies:
  • Customer service skills to manage the customer's experience and difficult customer situations.
  • Ethics and integrity to treat others with respect.
  • Basic computer skills to enter customer and vehicle information correctly.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Supervisory skills

Required Work Experience: (Required to be considered for this position)
  • Previous automotive shop management preferred.
  • Previous service advisor/ write experience required.

Education:
  • High school diploma or a GED
  • Automotive technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
