Job description

SUMMARY
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the daily operational performance of their assigned areas within the Quality Control (QC) team. This includes hiring and managing shift members consisting of Test Lab Technicians, Rollerbend Operators, Machine Shop Inspectors, and/or Document Control Clerks. The Quality Supervisor leads day-to-day operations within the QC department to ensure world-class standards are followed for all CTC products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Select, hire, train, develop and supervise all shift team members.
  • Actively lead and motivate the QC team to achieve global success.
  • Manage the QC shift schedule, including a focus on the time and attendance process.
  • Monitors equipment and ensures routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
  • Manages inventory of QC supplies and consumable materials.
  • Actively managing testing and inspection to established process standards.
  • Screens product records for conformance and completes certification for release.
  • Collaborate and provide solutions with multi-department teams on operational issues.
  • Report daily operations status, collect, and report data on performance trends.
  • Ensures safe practices and working environments are maintained and report/correct unsafe conditions.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a Quality manufacturing organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Experience working in ISO 9001/ANSI/NADCAP/AS or equivalent environments.
  • Intermediate computer skills (ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Experience reading engineering drawings.
  • Associate degree or bachelor's in a technical field or 10+ years of Quality manufacturing experience (preferred).
