Job description

SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst Associate in Bedford, Indiana to support the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will provide administrative, logistics, and data support TACP. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency with inventory management. The ability to maintain multiple tasks simultaneously, knowledge of supply chain processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to take direction from seasoned team members.

Note: This role will be fully onsite in Bedford, IN. No Remote

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly meetings with team members and customers, providing accurate inventory updates.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage the movement of materials from receiving, storage, and kitting to production.
  • Develop raw material and scheduling requirements using engineering specifications, production schedules, and deadlines.
  • Support gathering, compiling, and submitting all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items, such as MSR, FAT/FUT Tests, Trip Reports, etc.
  • Collect MSR (Material Status Report) data from relevant points and prepare the final document.
  • Submit Time Authorizations (TA) and assist in preparing and processing purchase authorizations and quote procurements for competing bids.
  • Assist in auditing logisticians' transactions and help define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for logistics, procurement, and RMA processes.
  • Support equipment calibration tracking (e.g., TMDE) and ensure employee certifications (e.g., J-STD-001, IPC-WHMA-620) are kept current.
  • Monitor and maintain contract-related documentation, including CAC expiration, SAAR forms, and compliance documents.
  • Handle proper material handling and storage techniques, such as tagging, packing, and grouping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by updating Excel spreadsheets and other tools daily.
  • Oversee the control and efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin and customer placement.
  • Coordinate and track procurements, hardware, machine shop resources, and cable equipment shipments.
  • Take detailed meeting notes during team and customer meetings (e.g., weekly tag-ups, internal points discussions).
  • Track, monitor, and generate reports to ensure accountability for actions and consistency in materials handling and logistics.
