Guided by our commitment to partnership, precision, and performance, we deliver the scalable solutions and technical excellence our customers depend on—today and into the future.

We are seeking a Technical Documentation Analyst to support our customer in Crane, Indiana. This position provides analytical and documentation support across production-phase system sustainment, customer technical support, and laboratory test and evaluation activities. The role is centered on two key customer priorities: proficiency in technical writing and proficiency in analyzing technical information. The successful candidate will work across multiple efforts, including AN/PLT-6 fielding support, JCREW Foreign Military Sales support, and Drake lab test and evaluation. This role is ideal for a candidate who can gather complex technical information from engineers and subject matter experts, analyze and organize that information, and convert it into clear, accurate, and actionable written products such as RFIs, test plans, test reports, training updates, sustainment documentation, and technical briefs. The position aligns to the SOW’s requirements for technical documentation, training support, technical manuals and publications, test planning and reporting, and broader program/documentation support.

This role requires in-person support.

Duties:

  • Analyze technical documents, engineering data, and system information to develop accurate and well-organized written products.
  • Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, trainers, and test personnel to collect and validate information needed for customer support and technical documentation.
  • Draft and refine Requests for Information (RFI) responses for Foreign Military Sales and other customer support efforts by coordinating with subject matter experts and related project teams.
  • Support training teams by providing current technical information needed to develop and update manuals, training materials, and related instructional products.
  • Prepare and update formal test plans, test reports, and closure briefs in support of laboratory and field test activities.
  • Analyze technical requirements and supporting documentation to understand the objectives, methods, and evaluation criteria for test events.
  • Assist with the conduct and documentation of lab test and evaluation events, including collection and organization of supporting technical data.
  • Collect, generate, organize, and maintain technical and sustainment documentation supporting long-term system support and lifecycle readiness.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts by documenting failures, technical findings, and follow-on actions in a clear and structured manner.
  • Prepare technical summaries, briefing materials, and formal written products that support program execution, customer communication, and decision-making.
  • Maintain technical records, document sets, and supporting data in accordance with Government documentation, change-management, and data-management processes. This aligns with the SOW’s emphasis on technical data, documentation support, manuals, and test/event reporting.

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, communications, English, or related discipline.

Desired Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in technical writing, documentation analysis, engineering support, test documentation, program analysis, or comparable work.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing technical information and translating it into clear written products.
  • Experience preparing technical products such as test plans, test reports, RFIs, manuals, briefs, or sustainment documentation.
  • Ability to interpret technical information, collaborate with subject matter experts, and produce accurate, organized documentation in a timely manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD, Navy, or defense-related technical programs.
  • Experience supporting training documentation, technical manuals, or sustainment documentation.
  • Experience preparing or supporting formal test documentation for lab or field events.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) support or customer technical-response workflows.
  • Experience documenting troubleshooting activities, failures, and corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Warfare, communications systems, or other complex military systems.
  • Experience working across engineering, logistics, training, and test organizations.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
