Regional General Manager - Southeast - Charlotte, Greenville, Raleigh
Lifeway Mobility, a leader in Home Accessibility and Home Mobility Equipment, is hiring a Regional General Manager in Charlotte, NC.
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Regional GM will manage existing branches in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greenville, SC.
Lifeway Mobility products improve lives, and our team is passionate about providing 5-star service, from the home-based sale, through installation of Handicap Ramps, Rails, Grab Bars, Stair Lifts, Chair Lifts, Elevators, and Home Accessibility Accommodations.
Our team makes a difference in people's lives every day. Our leaders are experienced in the industry, come from B2C (business to consumer) sales organizations, and are adept at growing and scaling business.
Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Support and further develop your team to achieve goals and exceed customer and referral partner expectations.
  • Achieve revenue targets and manage costs to a budget on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, ensuring net profit goals are met.
  • Communicate, educate and ensure team compliance with laws, regulatory agencies, and company policies.
  • Lead by example with ride alongs, mentoring, and developing an understanding of each role (marketing, sales, production).

Operations Responsibilities:
  • Review each sale and project to confirm quality standards of product, installation and customer satisfaction.
  • Local vendor management - maintain relationships with local and regional subcontractors/vendors as needed.
  • Point of Escalation - respond to and resolve escalated situations with customers, systems, and processes.
  • Ensure accurate and adequate inventory for all stocked equipment.
  • Manage fleet/vehicle maintenance, repairs and cleanliness.
  • Ensure timely response and completion of all service calls; tracking warranty information, confirming satisfactory completion and billing of all service requests.

Sales & Marketing Expectations:
  • Manage experienced Sales Consultants and set expectations for sales goals, appointments, conversation rates and total sales revenue.
  • Ensure the sales team meets timely completion of estimates and contracts with a clear product solution and scope of work.
  • Use creativity and people skills to ensure relationship development with community and patient referral sources, holding in-services, and hosting events to promote in-home mobility products.

Required Industry Experience, Skills, and Travel
  • MUST HAVE Residential Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry experience (B2C).
  • Proven experience as a successful Manager of people and processes, with multi-site responsibilities.
  • Financial acumen including P&L and budget.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and project management skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Travel 10%

  • Base salary in the range of $70K-90K plus incentive.
