Admissions Coordinator-Nursing Home located in Brooklyn, NY

Salary: $70K range (based on experience)

Responsibilities of the Admissions Coordinator:

  •       Coordinates the admission process to ensure the medical, social, emotional, and financial needs of the resident are handled accurately and efficiently
  •         Coordinates pre-admissions, scheduled and emergency admissions to facilitate admission;
  •          Reviews department policies and procedures
  •          Maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information

Qualifications of the Admissions Coordinator:

  • Must have previous experience as an Admissions Coordinator in long term care/skilled nursing facility
  • Must have nursing home experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Able to execute plans to achieve desired outcomes
