Summary: The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing and delivering meaningful reporting as well as supporting the workflow optimization process.

Description: We are seeking an analytical, technical and interpersonal individual to join our team as the Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing and delivering meaningful reporting around financial results, trends, ratios and projections. The Financial Analyst is also responsible for supporting the company by managing the various workflows as well as determining ways to improve such workflows.

Industry: This position is part of our Administration division, which supports multiple operating divisions that serve our nationwide customer base in industries ranging from residential management to financial and legal transaction processing to healthcare.

Responsibilities: The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for:

  • Gathering information from various sources, organizing it and preparing meaningful financial analysis reporting
  • Managing the workflow optimization process by ensuring information accuracy and consistency
  • Supporting the workflow optimization process by evaluating current workflows and identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies and automation opportunities
  • Monitoring financial performance against targets and highlighting key variances, trends and potential areas of concern
  • Evaluating financial feasibility of new projects and initiatives
  • Supporting the budget preparation and analysis for multiple divisions
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience: Candidates must have relevant work experience in a finance or accounting position.
Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is required.
Personal Attributes: Candidates must exhibit exceptional analytical, organizational and time-management skills. Other relevant attributes include:

  • Proficiency developing complex financial models using spreadsheet, database and other relevant software tools
  • Ability to research issues and arrive at reasonable, well-documented conclusions
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • PC experience in a Windows-based environment is required; broader knowledge of IT systems is helpful
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Technical Skills: Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft-based operating systems, Internet tools, telephone systems and software and other common tools. Other technical skills include:
