Position Overview:

Atrium is seeking a Division Manager to lead and grow our Direct Hire Finance & Accounting business.

This is a true player/coach role for a hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a

build-and-grow environment.

The Division Manager is responsible for owning the performance, growth, and culture of their division.

You will actively run a full Direct Hire desk while leading, coaching, and developing a team of recruiters

and sales professionals. This role requires strong business acumen, a consultative sales approach, and

the ability to translate strategy into execution. The ideal candidate is someone who wants ownership,

not just management, someone excited by building client relationships, developing talent, and scaling a

high-performing Direct Hire business.


Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Growth

  • Drive net-new client acquisition and expansion within the Finance & Accounting market

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term business plans aligned with division and company goals

  • Strategically penetrate target markets through prospecting, client meetings, and

  • partnerships

  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing strategy with a focus on profitability and long-term value

  • Build strategic alliances and optimize vendor and supplier relationships

Direct Hire Execution (Player-Coach)

  • Run a full Direct Hire desk, leading by example in sales, recruiting, and account management

  • Personally manage key client relationships and high-impact searches

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all client engagements

Team Leadership & Development

  • Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and sales professionals

  • Set clear expectations, goals, and accountability for performance and behavior

  • Coach and mentor team members on business development, recruiting strategy, and execution

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement

  • Lead weekly team meetings and daily prioritization discussions around open requisitions

Operations & Strategy

  • Monitor performance metrics, pipeline health, and financial results

  • Identify gaps and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and scale

  • Partner with Marketing on division-specific branding and lead-generation initiatives

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction
