Step Into Your New Role

Kleinfelder is seeking a Division Transportation Practice Lead to join our East Division Leadership Team and lead our Transportation Practice expand across the Eastern US. This role will involve influencing service line growth, staff development, quality and delivery, business development, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Practice/service line growth in new and existing geographies within the Division.
  • Increase Practice headcount (i.e., staff retention and recruiting new talent).
  • Improve Practice quality and delivery (i.e., serve as ITR, increase resource planning / sharing across areas, reduce write downs).
  • Support cross divisional initiatives.
  • Mentor and lead a strong team of highly motivated Practice professionals that can deliver on the most challenging projects to increase staff retention and attract talent from other companies to join the Practice Team.
  • Regularly work with Market Leads and CAMs to support business growth through active participation in internal & external client facing sales calls/meetings and proposal efforts.
  • Steward and drive Practice growth into new geographies within the Division that align with Division, Area, and Market objectives and strategy.
  • Hold Practice leaders and Sr. technical staff accountable for delivering high-quality work to help organically grow the business and deliver strong margins to support AMs.
  • Foster "One Division" (not separate Areas or Markets) by openly and honestly communicating on a regular basis with AMs, MLs, CAMs, and KTN about challenges and opportunities you are seeing in your Practice and across the company/industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience within the Transportation Market.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Group or Practice Lead
  • Professional engineer registration required.

The expected salary range for the position is displayedin accordance withthe state's Wage Transparency Law. Finalagreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.Salary range: $133,000 -$227,000.
