Senior Tax Manager - Americas
ZF LIFETEC is looking for a Senior Tax Accounting Manager to join the team! Overall, the Senior Tax Accounting Manager will be responsible for working cross collaboratively and functionally across the organization on topics related to tax planning, reporting and compliance with international tax laws and regulations; ensuring notable tax filing by statutory filing deadlines.
Your Tasks
  • Manage calculations of current and deferred taxes for budget, year-end and interim periods for the group entities in the region
  • Manage preparation and timely submission of income tax returns for group entities in region
  • Manage local tax audits and establish relationship with responsible tax authorities
  • Support in international tax planning, cash optimization and other ad-hoc tax projects such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Business partnering and establishing effective lines of communication with relevant peers and contacts in other functions and regions.
  • Lead tax team members in the region

Your Profile
  • 10+ year experience with US and regional tax matters, strong technical skills, including sales, use and property taxes
  • Experience with Mexican Maquiladora structures is a plus
  • Business understanding and strong business orientation (cross-functional focus, customer centricity, solution-oriented)
  • Strong communication and advanced process-management skill
  • Ability to work independently
  • Motivator & team leading skills
