AT A GLANCE:
The Regional Visual Merchandising Manager reports directly to the Director of Merchandising and is part of the Merchandising Team team. This role is responsible for leading the visual merchandising function across multiple districts and retail locations. This high-impact role is responsible for setting and executing the overall visual direction in alignment with company goals, brand standards, and customer expectations.
The ideal candidate is both creative and operationally minded-someone who can elevate showroom presentation while driving results through effective leadership, training, and performance management of District Visual Merchandising & Design Managers.
DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MEMORY MAKER:
  • Provide vision, direction, and leadership for visual merchandising and showroom design across all assigned districts.
  • Develop and implement regional visual merchandising strategies that support company initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and product rollouts.
  • Ensure consistency in showroom presentation, floor layout execution, lifestyle adherence, and visual storytelling across all stores.
  • Partner closely with corporate merchandising, marketing, operations, and store leadership to align regional visual execution with business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of District Visual Merchandising & Design Managers, fostering professional growth and strong collaboration.
  • Conduct regular store and district visits to assess execution quality, ensure brand standards are met, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee large-scale visual projects, including new store openings, remodels, regional rollouts, and corporate initiatives.
  • Evaluate store performance through sales metrics, visual audits, and guest feedback to inform merchandising strategies and team development.
  • Manage visual merchandising budgets, tools, fixtures, and resources across the region to optimize impact and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between field visual teams and the corporate office for communication, updates, and best practices.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • 7+ years of experience in visual merchandising, including 3+ years in a multi-unit leadership or regional role within the retail home furnishings or lifestyle category.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing district-level teams.
  • Strong creative eyes with deep understanding of showroom layout, product staging, lighting, space planning, and storytelling.
  • Proven ability to align visual merchandising with broader business strategy and KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and visual planning tools; ability to learn proprietary systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Willing and able to travel regionally up to 80% of the time.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related field preferred.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as, in a collaborative team environment
  • This role is primarily a work from home position after onsite training is complete.
