Nuts Factory is a fast-growing specialty retail chain focused on premium nuts, chocolates, candies, dried fruits, and viral dessert concepts. With multiple locations across the Northeast and continued expansion ahead, we are looking for a strong retail operations leader to help elevate store performance, execution, customer experience, and team accountability across all locations.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and elevate the daily operations of multiple retail store locations. This role reports directly to the CEO and serves as a key leader between executive management, district managers, and store teams.

The ideal candidate has strong experience managing multi-unit retail operations, building high-performing teams, driving sales performance, enforcing operational standards, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across all stores.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring frequent travel between stores and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Store Standards

  • Visit store locations regularly to ensure operational excellence
  • Ensure stores are:
    • Clean and organized
    • Fully stocked
    • Properly merchandised
    • Operating according to company standards
  • Ensure employees maintain proper dress code and presentation
  • Monitor and improve customer service standards across all locations
  • Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions quickly

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support district managers and store managers
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and develop store managers
  • Ensure accountability throughout all levels of store operations
  • Facilitate regular meetings with district managers and store managers
  • Communicate company initiatives, priorities, and operational updates to store teams
  • Help build a strong performance-driven culture

Performance & KPI Management

  • Analyze store sales, labor, operational KPIs, and performance trends
  • Monitor store productivity and profitability
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve efficiency
  • Create operational reports and provide direct updates to the CEO
  • Ensure action plans are implemented and followed through

Communication & Execution

  • Act as the operational bridge between the CEO and field teams
  • Ensure company directives are properly executed at the store level
  • Maintain detailed store visit reports and follow-up action items
  • Ensure consistency across all locations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multi-unit retail management experience
  • Experience managing several retail store locations simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and sales analysis
  • Ability to travel frequently between store locations
  • Experience in food retail, specialty retail, QSR, or hospitality is a strong plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Hands-on mentality with strong attention to detail
